\"Resident-Evil-Degeneration-English-Dubbed\"<\/a>By Nik Rasmussen–<\/strong>In 1996, Capcom released Resident Evil for the PlayStation console, creating a world of survival horror. \u00a0Since then, there have been 26 games and seven movies.<\/p>\n

The films are directed by \u00a0Paul W. Anderson, known for such films as Mortal Kombat and Alien vs. Predator, and star his wife Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element, Zoolander and The Three Musketeers)..<\/p>\n

There is a 28th game, however: Resident Evil 1.5. \u00a0This game was the first draft for Resident Evil 2, but as the release date in 1997 got closer, developers of the game decided to start over because they were not happy with the product. Now, hackers have managed to get their hands on a copy of the product and have been trying to complete it for longtime fans.\u00a0 This is a rare underground project that is expected to be released some time in the near future.\u00a0 Demos are available for download.<\/p>\n

Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) is a computer generated (CG) film created by Capcom that follows the video game story line.\u00a0 The film takes place between Resident Evil four and five.<\/p>\n

Claire Redfield (first appeared in RE2) arrives at an airport in the city of Harvardville just before a terrorist seeking revenge for his family releases the T-virus in the same airport to force the U.S. government to go public with the cover-up.\u00a0 The airport is quickly overrun by zombies, with the National Guard quarantining the area.\u00a0 Claire is trapped with other survivors, which is where government agent Leon S. Kennedy (first appeared in RE2) is brought in to get the survivors out while keeping the number of infected from growing.\u00a0 \u00a0Together Claire and Leon must track down the terrorist before another tragedy strikes.<\/p>\n

As a fan of the game series, seeing a true adaptation of the story was a great experience.\u00a0 I can say the same about the sequel \u201cDamnation,\u201d but I look forward to more CG adaptations of the series.\u00a0 My favorite part in the entire movie is the flash back scene with both Leon and Claire from Resident Evil 2.<\/p>\n

My least favorite parts of the movie were the slow sections of the film where there is no action and it\u2019s all informal.\u00a0 It would have helped if the writer, director and editor had either shortened it down or had the slow moments in a hostile environment.\u00a0 It would also be cool if Capcom would make an animated series, perhaps focusing on what Rebecca Chambers or Berry Burton have been up to since the original game. Some answers will be explained in the upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 2.<\/p>\n

If you are not use to seeing computer generated films or have never played the video games, you will have a glimpse into the world, but you will be missing out on the character introductions most are used to seeing<\/p>\n
