Wednesday was a wild night in Allee Gym as the Mustangs played host to GPAC nemesis Northwestern. The Mustangs came away with two big wins.<\/p>\n

The women bested an unbeaten Red Raiders squad 90-79, and the men made it look easy as they won by 32, 97-65.<\/p>\n

The Mustang women, ranked 10th nationally in the latest NAIA Division II poll, climbed to 16-5 overall and 7-4 in the GPAC. Morningside remained in fifth place in the league standings, one-half game out of fourth place behind Midland (8-4).<\/p>\n

The men climbed to 14-7 on the season. The Mustangs improved to 8-3 in the GPAC to remain in fourth place in the league standings, one-half game behind Midland (9-3).
