But, with a little looking, you can always find something entertaining to do in Sioux-town.<\/p>\n<p>1) <em>Rock wall climbing<\/em>&#8211; The Long Lines Family Recreation Center offers climbing\u00a0walls for every climber. The Center\u2019s walls range from 13 foot boulders to a 5,900\u00a0square foot climbing space. For $7 you can climb as much as you want for 2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>2) <em>Visit a hotel<\/em>&#8211; Hotels that have a sauna, hot tub, and swimming pool usually let\u00a0visitors use the facilities for a small fee. All you need to do is talk to the front desk\u00a0and they will let you know about their policy.<\/p>\n<p>3) <em>MidAmerica Museum of Aviation and Transportation<\/em>&#8211; This museum takes a look\u00a0at the history of the Sioux City area aviation and transportation world. This 30,000 square foot museum is home to a \u201941 Cadillac Fleetwood that was used by President\u00a0Truman in Omaha and a 1913 Road Grader.<\/p>\n<p>4) <em>Mechanical Bull at Mac Behr\u2019s<\/em>&#8211; Hold on tight! If you\u2019re over 21, stop by Mac\u00a0Behr\u2019s to try out the mechanical bull. If riding the bull isn\u2019t your thing, then stop by\u00a0to watch other people try their best. Either way, it will be an amusing night.<\/p>\n<p>5) <em>Live Music<\/em>&#8211; If you\u2019re in the mood for some live music consider stopping by Indigo\u00a0Palette, Chesterfields, or Rhonda\u2019s Speak Easy. Each location offers a wide variety\u00a0of music. Bands vary by night, so check out there websites beforehand to see what they will be offering.<\/p>\n<p>6) <em>Take a Date to the Riveria<\/em>&#8211; The Riviera Theatre, which is located next to the\u00a0Sioux City Convention Center, displays movies after they have\u00a0left regular\u00a0theaters.\u00a0Seating is generally very open. Tickets cost only $3.50 a piece.<\/p>\n<p>7) <em>Laser Tag<\/em>&#8211; Combat Live is located in the Southern Hills Mall. Laser tag is a great\u00a0workout and such an adrenaline rush. One of the perks of playing laser tag is that\u00a0you won\u2019t need to search for a bunch of people to bring. If you can\u2019t find anyone who\u00a0wants to play, they will put you in a group. If you\u2019re on a budget you can play for 15\u00a0minutes for $6.<\/p>\n<p>8) <em>Go to Palmer\u2019s Candy<\/em>&#8211; Do you have a sweet tooth? Try out a local Sioux City\u00a0favorite: the Twin Bing. While you\u2019re venturing around Palmer\u2019s Candy Company\u00a0take a minute to learn a little about the history of the shop.<\/p>\n<p>9) <em>Visit the Ice Cream Capital of the World<\/em>&#8211; It\u2019s just a short 25-minute drive to Le\u00a0Mars, Iowa. Le Mars has been home to Blue Bunny Ice Cream since 1913. More ice\u00a0cream is produced in Le Mars than any other city in the world. Johanna Munoz said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy friends and I will drive down to Le Mars when we\u2019re bored some times. The\u00a0drive isn\u2019t that bad but, the ice cream is great and the atmosphere is cool.\u201d The ice\u00a0cream is sold in a 1920\u2019s- style parlor. After you\u2019ve enjoyed your ice cream you can\u00a0tour the Visiting Center and learn the history of ice cream and Wells\u2019 Dairy.<\/p>\n<p>10) <em>Edgar\u2019s Old Fashioned Soda Fountain<\/em>&#8211; Visit Elk Point for an old- style\u00a0experience. The fountain appeared in 1906 in Centerville, SD. After being out of\u00a0service for almost 20 years, the owners of Pioneer Drug restored the fountain.\u00a0Enjoy the vintage looking parlor and try the homemade ice cream.
