The students in Madsen\u2019s class then came up with their own list of \u201cTen Things to Know When You Come to Morningside College”:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cancelled classes mean more sleep<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sweats and sweatshirts become your new wardrobe<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Water is a necessary component of making Ramen Noodles and mac-n-cheese<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Adam Levine may have used all of his change at a payphone, but I\u2019ve used all of mine doing laundry<\/p>\n

5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At 11 o\u2019clock on weekend nights, everyone walks around with water bottles for \u201cexercise\u201d and backpacks for \u201cstudying.\u201d<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 La Juas and Taco Bell are the only acceptable food options after 1a.m.<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You lock yourself out of your room at the most peculiar times.<\/p>\n

8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you go a week without hitting your head on something in your dorm, it\u2019s a damn good week.<\/p>\n

9)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Set 2 or 3 alarms in the morning to make sure the beast has awoken<\/p>\n
