There was music, dancing, and an assortment of\u00a0spicy authentic Hispanic food to munch on. Approximately forty people\u00a0attended the event that lasted from 8pm-10pm.<\/p>\n<p>President of the Spanish Club, Ana Miranda, and Vice President, Kelci\u00a0Teut, were happy with the event\u2019s success.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to thank every one who came over and helped us out with\u00a0this event! This was a new event on campus, and we (Spanish Club\u00a0members) were ecstatic with the turn out and everyone&#8217;s participation\u00a0throughout the dance! We would also like to thank Banda Proyecci\u00f3n,\u00a0the band member and Spanish Club officer Kim Mendoza for volunteering\u00a0their night!\u00a0 We look forward to doing more events like this in the\u00a0future,\u201d says Club President, Miranda.<\/p>\n<p>They sell Tacos-in-a-Bag in Lewis Hall two or three times a semester\u00a0raising money for underprivileged women they sponsor in Guatemala,\u00a0some Film Fiestas showing Hispanic films, and they try to schedule a\u00a0few speakers.
