This was the Mustangs\u2019 last regular season game along with senior night for Tanaeya Worden and Emily Christen.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest moment of the game was when Worden hit 22 points and she became the 20th\u00a0woman in Morningside history to score 1,000 points. She scored her final points with a pair of free throws with only 2:43 left in the game.<\/p>\n<p>Three other Mustang players reached double figures. Christen had 18 points and dominated the forward position with 18 points. Chelsie Trask had 12 points and Bobbi McManaman hit double figures three games in a row with 11 points.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustangs\u2019 win put their GPAC record at 15-3 bumping them up to second in the conference behind Northwestern. \u00a0They will host the second round of the GPAC tournament on Thursday , February 24\u00a0at 7pm.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMen burdened with injures, defeat Nebraska Wesleyan 78-64<br \/>\n<\/strong>The men\u2019s basketball team guaranteed a 6th\u00a0place finish in the GPAC after they beat Nebraska Wesleyan 78-64. It was also senior night for the men as Mitchell Shultze, Ryan Gass, and Sergej Baskow were honored.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustangs were missing some key players on Saturday, Kevin Zoz and Tyler Johnson were both out with injuries, but that didn\u2019t stop the men from dominating.<\/p>\n<p>Cory Gaston came off the bench with a career high 22 points shattering his previous high of 14. Gaston was also 10 for 12 at the free throw line.<\/p>\n<p>Bryan Borchers reached double figures with 16 points, along with Danny Rudeen with 13.
