For many, it\u2019s a mix of excitement for what\u2019s next and nostalgia for the place that\u2019s been home for the past few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked what they\u2019ll miss most, the answer was one: the people. \u201cI\u2019m going to miss the amazing people who make Morningside what it is,\u201d said <strong>Diego Ocando<\/strong>, a senior from Venezuela graduating this December. \u201cThe atmosphere of friendship, the teachers who make classes better, and the day-to-day with people who have become my family.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>Diego Setton<\/strong>, a senior from Brazil graduating in May 2026, it\u2019s also about the forever friendships. \u201cI\u2019ll miss the people I\u2019ve met, I\u2019ve made a lot of good friends whom I\u2019ll carry with me for the rest of my life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both students also shared advice for underclassmen just starting their Morningside journey. Ocando encourages new students to take it all in: \u201cEnjoy every moment. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so make the most of every opportunity.\u201d Setton adds that students shouldn\u2019t be afraid to reach out for help. \u201cOne of the best things about Morningside being small is that you can rely on faculty and staff; they really want to see you succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As these seniors prepare to move forward, their reflections remind us what makes Morningside special: the friendships, the community, and the memories that last far beyond graduation.
