At Morningside students often get involved in clubs and activities that are generally of interest to them. Each floor in each residence hall at Morningside has an RA that acts as a reference for the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raelee Voss, the Roadman Hall Area Coordinator and Advisor for the Morningside Activities Council, is overseeing the RA hiring process for the 2025-2026 academic year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RA applications for the next academic year have been open since January 13. An email regarding the application and hiring process has been sent to the student body. Voss encourages people who even have a \u201cminor interest\u201d&nbsp; in becoming an RA to apply.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Applications are due via erezlife.morningside (the housing signup portal) at 11:59 on Sunday, January 26.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked how becoming an RA can help jumpstart a resume, Voss said, \u201cI believe that it gives you a good professional work setting\u2026 it shows you handle situations through communication and have effective professional teamwork skills.\u201d Voss also notes the skills developed in ResLife are something employers look for on a resume.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to RA positions, Voss also encourages students to become active members of the Morningside Activities Council (MAC), which can lead to becoming a MAC Executive Member in future years.
