{"id":15889,"date":"2024-09-20T11:01:18","date_gmt":"2024-09-20T16:01:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/thecr\/?p=15889"},"modified":"2024-09-20T13:17:21","modified_gmt":"2024-09-20T18:17:21","slug":"a-mac-packed-week-for-homecoming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/thecr\/archives\/15889","title":{"rendered":"A MAC-Packed Week for Homecoming"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By Jaden Carney &#8211; <\/strong>With homecoming week on the horizon, the Morningside Activities Council (MAC) has been working hard to create fun and engaging activities for the student body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plan is to have one of event for every day of the week, which are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Monday, <\/strong>October 7th<strong><br> Street Signs at Student GOV <\/strong>11:00 AM &#8211; 2:00 PM<strong><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday, <\/strong>October 8th<strong><br> Paint a Cowbell\/Tee Shirt in Yockey <\/strong>11:00 AM &#8211; 2:00 PM<strong><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday Night, <\/strong>October 8th<strong><br> Coronation in Eppley Auditorium <\/strong>7:00pm<strong><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday, <\/strong>October 9th<strong><br> BINGO in Yockey Hall <\/strong>8:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thursday, <\/strong>October 10th<strong><br> Comedian Ryan Kelly in Yockey <\/strong>7:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday, <\/strong>October 11th<strong><br> Caricatures on the \u201cM\u201d <\/strong>11:00 AM &#8211; 2:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday, <\/strong>October 12th<strong><br> Grill Master &amp; MAC Meal Collaboration <\/strong>[Location and time details TBA]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This is my first homecoming at Morningside and I am excited for all the events planned for Homecoming Week,&#8221; said MAC Advisor Raelee Voss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy favorite event planned for the week is a tie between BINGO and Comedian, Ryan Kelly,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voss encourages all students to show up and have a great time!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information about the MAC and their upcoming events can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msidesg.org\/mac\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.msidesg.org\/mac\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Jaden Carney &#8211; With homecoming week on the horizon, the Morningside Activities Council (MAC) has been working hard to create fun and engaging activities for the student body.
