Unlike hot oatmeal, overnight oats are enjoyed cold and creamy. You can customize them by changing the soaking liquid or adding various mix-ins such as fruits, nuts, seeds, spices, or sweeteners like honey or maple syrup. This versatility makes it easy to create a delicious and varied breakfast!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Level: Easy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total: 5 hours &amp; 5 min<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prep: 5 min<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inactive: 5 Hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Serving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2153 to \u00bd cup liquid such as dairy milk, almond, cashew, or coconut milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2153 to \u00bd cup old-fashioned oats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2153 to \u00bd cup yogurt, optional<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon chia seeds, optional but highly recommended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd banana, mashed, optional<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serving suggestions:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fruit (Fresh or Dried), Nuts, Nut Butter, Seeds, Protein Powder, Granola, Coconut, Spices, Citrus Zest and Vanilla Extract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add the desired amount of Milk, Oats, Yogurt, Chia Seeds, and Banana to a jar or container and give them a good stir. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refrigerate overnight or for at least 5 hours. In the morning, add additional liquid if you&#8217;d like. Once you achieve the desired consistency, top with fruit, nuts, nut butter, seeds, protein powder, granola, coconut, spices, zest, or vanilla extract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cook\u2019s Note<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The mixture will be kept for up to 2 days. If you don&#8217;t add the banana, up to 4 days.
