Despite a flawless first half and a furious second\u2013half comeback attempt, the Mustangs’ season came to an end 84\u201379 in the NAIA National Championship Tournament quarterfinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior Sierra Mitchell led all scorers with 27 points, including seven three pointers. Sophia Peppers tossed in 18 and Taylor Rodenburgh 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mustangs finish with a 30\u20136 mark. Southeastern, 36\u20131, moves on to face either Dordt or The Master’s (Cal) in the semifinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
