The show started off with a reenactment of the classic Beauty and the Beast and his quest to break the magic curse. It then transitioned to another original favorite, Cinderella, and the story of how with a little help from her fairy godmother Cinderella was able to find her true love. Next up was Coco and Miguel’s magical performance from the land of the dead, leading us into the 10-minute intermission.

After the break, the show continued with fan-favorite, Frozen and Elsa’s magic to control winter. We then jumped into the movie Tangled and Rapunzel’s extremely long and magical hair. Then finally to top it all off it ended with Moana and her journey across the ocean to find magical, demi-god Maui and return the heart of Tafiti and save her island.

This year’s show was different from any other performance ever! There were fireworks, a snow machine, skaters dangling from silks, and even a fire wall ON ICE!

This show was definitely not one to miss and I can’t wait to see what next year’s performance brings!

Jadyn Steffen- Sioux City’s very own Tyson Event Center hosted Disney on Ice this past weekend for the first time in 10 years!
