Photos by Abby Koch-<\/strong>Mustangs’ run in the national tournament was ended with a 65-62 loss to Thomas Moore University in the semi finals on Mon. March 22. Morningside trailed for much of the game but came back from a 16 point deficit in the fourth quarter to take the lead. The Saints responded by holding the Mustangs scoreless for five minutes and to secure their win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior Sierra Mitchell guided the Mustangs in scoring with 27 points and was 7 from 17 from the arc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Morningside women’s basketball team conclude their season with a 29-3 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
