It was the type of cringy but loveable teenage rom-com that many people love.

After
that, P.S. I Still Love You was set
for big things…and it did not disappoint.

Viewers were left on a cliffhanger. John Ambrose McClaren returned Lara Jean’s love letter while her boyfriend, Peter (who also received a love letter), and neighbor, Josh Sanderson (yet a third love letter receiver), were out of the frame.

Peter
seemed perfect for Lara Jean, and their first “real” date started out the new
movie. Honestly, I was wondering who could even compete with him. Well, John
Ambrose finally made his grand appearance and it’s clear that he’s there to win
Lara Jean’s heart, too.

To
be fair, John Ambrose doesn’t know she’s dating his former sixth grade best
friend. He still thinks Peter and Gen are dating, or at least talking. So, the
letter he sent in response to hers was totally innocent even if it did confuse
her emotions.

The
movie continues to follow these three former best friends through croquet
matches, treehouse hideouts, and a starry ball. We even meet a lovely older
lady, Stormy, who acts as Lara Jean’s fairy godmother of sorts.

It’s
up to you to watch the movie to see just who Lara Jean ends up with. Will it be
Peter? Or will it be John Ambrose? P.S….you’ll just have to watch to find out.

Overall,
I give P.S. I Still Love You 4 out of
5 love letters.

by Mari Pizzini– Love is in the air, and Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky are back in the new Netflix Original To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S.
