Local band, “Don Juan” tells fans to get ready because, “we hope to have\u00a0product on the streets and on the airwaves by the end of the summer.”<\/p>\n
The band formed\u00a0about 3 years ago when John Dodge \u00a0began singing with band member Don Cooper. Although at first the idea of being in a band felt irresponsible to Cooper. He stated, “It took a long time to shuck the robe of responsibility.” Cooper fought for years deciding on what to do with his life. His love for writing songs and playing guitar did not seem like a suitable career thats would take him far in life so he decided to become an english teacher just in case.<\/p>\n
Cooper then realized that happiness in life was the most important thing and that “just in case attitude” and settling for less wasn’t bringing happiness to his life. That idea of never settling is an idea the band still holds true to today.<\/p>\n
The main goal of the band is to be happy. “You don’t have to live in the Hollywood Hills or\u00a0drive a Mercedes Benz. “It’s tough but it’s worth it” Dodge told us.\u00a0\u00a0“Nobody settles, for anything but best,” Dodge says. Like any group there can be times when you may not see eye to eye. Dodge continued to say, “we love each other and we fight all the time. That’s the way we work.
