My family has a religious background and has sub rituals that we do as a family.\u00a0 When holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving come around we all meet as a big family and eat a big breakfast and then we go to church as a family.\u00a0 Usually after church is over the turkey is done cooking and we go to my grandmas house to have lunch and visit with family.\u00a0 Another kind of ritual we always have is we play cards with everyone after we clean up after dinner, it is kind of a cool down for our family and a relaxing time for all of us to come to the sacred center of my grandmas house.\u00a0 When I am around my family, I am at my sacred place, I feel comfortable and safe at my grandmas house and surrounded by family and lots of love.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
