The cause is unclear yet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the police report of the MCPD, less than 100 had injuries and 2 people died so far. The initial damage to the mall is also not clear yet, said Cap. Ross Fuglsang from the MCPD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuglsang added, &#8220;We&#8217;re working close with the mall management in order to assure thoroughness and timeliness&#8230; our police forces are still clearing the building in order to investigate further&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homeland security has also been informed by the police department. The MCPD will work with a special team of investigators as well, the police report released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parent Sam Storey, who was in the middle of the food court when the explosion happened, is still missing his 12-year-old daughter, Kiki. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mall tweeted just minutes after the explosion:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our sympathy goes out to all the families impacted by todays&#8217;s events. we will work closely with authorities to find the answers and insure that MCM remains a safe place for our costumers and associates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Police will have another press conference this afternoon at 2 pm, Cap.
