Classmate Interview

Charlie Fletcher is originally from San Diego, California. His family moved there because of a job opportunity for his dad. When he was two, they moved to Omaha, Nebraska because his dad got a new job at Creighton University as a professor. Charlie attended a private high school called Skutt Catholic, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Charlie is the middle child of two siblings. He has an older brother, Nathan, who is 22 years old, and a younger sister, Aly, who is 17 years old. His family is something that he is grateful for. They love spending holidays together and going on family vacations. In Charlie’s household, they do not have any pets but in the past, they did have a fish.

Charlie is on the basketball team here at Morningside University. When he is not playing basketball, he enjoys partaking in golf outings with friends, watching different sports teams on TV, playing Clash of Clans, and eating food; he’s a foodie.

Charlie’s favorite vacation spot is Colorado. He mentioned, “Colorado has great weather with a lot of stuff to do like hiking and going out on the lake.” Another special memory he made in Colorado was when he went ziplining through the mountains.

In the summertime, Charlie works as a bank teller. He also works on a baseball field in his hometown doing field maintenance.  As a bank teller, Charlie makes deposits, cash checks, transfers, sorts, and counts money. At the baseball field, he does specific tasks like painting the foul lines, chalking the infields, and changing the bases.
