My search began with a simple task, to find a paper clip that is not silver. I was shocked that I had to do such a pointless task. I began asking simple people in the library and got nothing but confused and odd looks. Some man must have been so confused by my question he gave me a silver paper clip. I just walked away.

I decided I needed to get serious about this task. So i climbed my way up those creepy, dark stairs. There was a faint scent of cherries. I asked four more people and still no non-silver paper clip. Then, I found Donna Galati. She was petite and quiet in her little corner office, but she pulled out her jar of paper clips, and these magical blue and yellow paper clips were there.

I aske her why she had colored paper clips, and her response was, “I get them off my kid’s papers, and I just don’t throw them away.”
