Friday!!

I choose this article because it was about my high school volleyball team. They won their home tournament for the first time since 2006, when I was a sophomore. I love hearing that my old team is finally makingĀ a comeback in high school. My sister will be a freshman next year and I hope they can maybe win another state championship.

The article was also written very well. It stated what happened, but there was a huge flaw. One of the names was spelt wrong and it looked like her name was Moran, instead of Morghan. I think flaws like that can take away credibility and respect for the newspaper.

The link didn’t work, and I can’t seem to get it to copy and paste.

Yes, mistakes do shred credibility. Sports is the glue that holds small communities together. And in a small town newspaper it is the news that will most likely be put on someone’s refrigerator.
