Morgan's Memoir

Noah Pineda, 20, was arrested for robbing Sarg’s Mini Mart around 6pm Wednesday Night. He pointed a rifle at the clerk and demanded money. He then fled once he did and ran into a wooded area where the Woodbury County Officials released their K9 unit to apprehend him. Both the rifle and money was recovered from the place of being arrested. Further investigation is happening to see if there is any correlation between this robbery and recent other robberies in the Sioux City Area.

There has been a lot of crime around campus recently and I wanted to read a more localized news article. When I was on google news looking for a story, there was this one along with about five other robbery related crimes for the area. The article was short and gave all of the information needed like if anyone was hurt, if the evidence was found, and if he was found. I also like the part where they added the question of connection to other robberies because now im interested to want to stay updated on the story and what will come of the recent crimes.
