Paris, mon amour by Lisann Evert
Bonjour is like coffee in Paris
While I walk down the Champs-Élysées
The smell of pain au chocolate
Wafting from a bakery
Pouvez-vous me montrer le chemin ?
Il dit : Bien sûr ! Just follow the street
Still, I get lost
Too much in love with the city, with you
to follow the lead
Late at night, a date by the Seine
After another glass of red wine
I’ll tell you je t’aime
But I am not to blame
For how could I resist?
If they invented romance
Right where we just kissed
Oh, let me stay a little longer
Paris, mon amour
You are where I belong
I have never been so sure
