About Morningside College

The English program at Morningside College provides an excellent preparation for almost any profession. The program will help give any student a love and understanding of literature and language. Students learn in a small-class environment with faculty who have been published by all numbers of magazines and presses.

Professors at Morningside take a personal interest in the development of students for graduate school and careers such as English teaching at the secondary and college level, school administration, law, librarianship, journalism, free-lance writing, editing, publishing, business, non-profit government work, and many other fields.

Kiosk is the English Department’s annual arts and literary magazine, publishing Morningside writing, by and for Morningside students and affiliates, distributed at no cost.

Morningside College printed its first literary magazine in 1938. In the years since, there have been many changes to help it grow and evolve into the Morningside Kiosk. This year we will continue on this path by introducing the Kiosk to the 21st century! #MsideKiosk2019
