Sioux City History Museum

Art Museum

My favorite piece by Tim Olsen, focusing on the Seven Deadly Sins in a modern context.
Another Tim Olsen piece – I’m a big fan of the references to religious art themes, such as the “halo” around the baby’s head with the Crush logo.

Orpheum

I’ve been to the Orpheum many times in my lifetime, not only seeing a few shows but also going there every Christmas Eve for the Sunnybrook Church Service every year. I really liked seeing backstage and as usual all of the old fancy lights around the building.

Bacon Creek – 24 Frames

Bacon Creek is one of my favorite places to go for a walk or hike in this area. This trail is about three miles long, which my friend, Brylee, my dog, Molly, and myself have been doing at about 7am every morning for the last few weeks. These pictures were taken at about the halfway point, and I tried to include as much as possible from the same spot.
