Katie Polk

Being responsible is important to Katie Polk, a senior from Elgin Nebraska.

Katie Polk shows responsibility in many different ways throughout her day. Katie is responsible to manage kids at the Boys and Girls club in Sioux City Iowa. She mentors them and helps them see light in their day.

Katie also works in the Marketing Department at Morningside College.  In the Marketing Department Katie is responsible to guide eight interns. Katie says “Im in charge of making sure people are staying on task to get the project that is assigned done.”

Being responsible for Katie means that being late is not an option. “I hate being late” Katie said. She has to stay on time with her busy schedule while double majoring in Mass communication and Non- Profit Management.

Because Katie is so responsible and always staying on task, she gets to graduate a year early. Responsibility can go a long ways if accept it.
