He was awarded the Jimmy V award at the ESPYs which signifies a deserving member of the sporting world who has overcome great obstacles through perseverance and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Scott&#8217;s speech he mentioned the struggles that he was going through and the people that were there by his side the whole way. He told us to &#8220;live, live, and fight like hell&#8221;. He also spoke about the purpose and the reasons he is the way he is. &#8220;It&#8217;s how you live and why you live. What you live for.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His daughter came up on stage and gave him a hug. Signifying his words, &#8220;This is not a solo fight&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stuart Scott is an inspiration to us all.
