Dayne Davis is a senior hear at Morningside, he will graduate in the Spring of 2024. Dayne is originally from Kansas city and came to Morningside to play football, he now focuses his attention on photography, music, and sneakers. Over the spring and summer Dayne has been focusing on sports photography. He enjoys taking live action shots and making edits. In his long term career he is trying to make a living off sports photography. When Dayne isn’t working on his photography skills he enjoys listening to music. He likes all types of music, rap, country, some early rock and roll. Dayne is currently listening to some new country music and a little bit of early rock and roll. Dayne also enjoys reselling sneakers, some of his favorites are Jordan, Yeezys, and Dunks. The shoe market is a very interesting market to get into, so many people resell and fix up sneakers that their is some serious money in that line of work. Some of Dayne’s favorite foods are Kansas City BBQ, burgers, and pizza. As I talked about before Dayne is a football fan, his favorite professional team is the Chiefs. With Dayne being from Kansas this makes sense, I personally like the Giants. When I first came to Morningside I met Dayne threw football. We both played our freshman year and later on moved our attention to different things. Not only was Dayne a good football player, he is a very skill full basketball player. Not to long ago we used to play 4 on 4 pick up and this is where I saw Dayne play first hand. Let me just say if Dayne wanted to play basketball hear at Morningside I think he’d be able to. All in all Dayne is a very interesting individual and has quite a story. From his time in Kansas City, to his present life here in Sioux City one can only wonder wear his journey will take him. I look forward to getting to know Dayne better and to hear more about his life and his future dreams.
