Adam Johnson dead on the ice

Adam Johnson is a former NHL hockey player, he played 13 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins between 2018-2020. On October 28th, he was killed in a “freak accident” while playing professional hockey overseas.

While skating down the ice Matt Petgrave kicked his leg out and caught Johnson in the neck with the blade of his skate. This sliced Johnsons neck and later resulted in his death.

Police are treating this like any other homicide case, Petgrave is currently in police custody.
