Murder Case Hits 40 years unsolved

Terri McCauley of Sioux City went missing on Sept. 27, 40 years ago. Her body was found days later, however the murderer was never cught.

18 year old Terri McCauley disappeard after meeting with a few of her friends in downtown Sioux land. Her body was then found near a ditch on 33rd street and Floyd.

Last Wednesday A memorial was placed their last Wednesday as a reminder to the life she had, and the life that was stripped from her.

Terris family is still out searching for answers, even after 40 years. They hope that this “unsolved murder case” will come to a close and justice will be served. Sioux city police reported that the case in no longer active, but any information is appreciated.

This story is important because it talks about some of Sioux lands mystery and crime history. A story like this compels audiences and grabs at peoples attention, people are drawn to crime. I perssonaly found this article interesting as their has been no information on the murderer in over 40 years.
