The ban was ordered as a precaution, while studies are conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a consequence, 70 radar guns will be withdrawn from service. State troopers will continue to use radar units with transmitters mounted on the outside of their cruisers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cThe feeling here is to err on the side of caution until more is known about the issue,\u201d Smith said. \u201cThe whole situation is under review.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move is considered to be the first of its kind by a state police agency.
