With cancer becoming an issue in many people lives and issue that can be very emotional for a lot of people and families President Joe Biden is offering some hope for families affected by this terrible disease. President Biden is making history with a speech being called \u201cCancer Moonshot\u201d (WaPo). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Monday September 12, 2022, President Biden stood Infront of a podium at the JFK Presidential Library in Boston and announce his initiative to end cancer \u201cas we know it\u201d according to the Associated Press. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Biden, shaping his announcement in a way that President Kennedy did to announce going to moon and developing a \u201cnational purpose\u201d according to the Associated Press (AP). President Biden hopes to cut 50% of cancer related deaths over the next 25 years according to the Associated Press (AP). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Biden had this to say about his goal \u201cbold, ambitious, and I might add, completely doable\u201d according to the Associated Press (AP). Biden is completely willing to do whatever it takes to fight cancer and get this fight started to end this terrible disease.
