Cathy Wensen, daughter of prominent attorney Jim Wensen, was arrested yet again for a DUI last night. This has been Cathy’s third offense of driving under the influence in only six months.

Cathy was Vanderbilt University’s homecoming queen as well as a cheerleader and a straight-A student.

Backwater’s president, David French, decided that changes were needed to their graduation requirements. This decision came after a study showed that less than a fifth of the student body had taken a foreign language or math course. “We feel that these new course requirements will allow us to turn out better–educated persons.” French stated. Students that start during the Fall 2023 term will now be required to take a math, computer science, and foreign language course.

The 45 passengers were aboard the TWA jet when they were taking off from the New York City airport Thursday night. John Dumont and George Johnson, both professors at Backwater State University, were involved in the crash. They both escaped with only injuries.

TWA has not disclosed any information on how this crash occurred.
