Emma Anderson’s life changing moment
Emma Anderson, Morningside University student, has encountered a major life changing moment. At the age of 5 she discovered an injury that has caused her to have surgery almost every year, multiple hereditary exostoses. Multiple hereditary exostoses a rare genetic disorder characterized by multiple osteochondromas that grow near the growth plates of bones such as the ribs, pelvis, vertebrae and especially long bones.
Emma described it as “I have bones where bones shouldn’t be”, she explained how it hurts and how their is not a ton of research on it.
OK, Jay. You had to do some research. I would be interested in more info.
