Yesterday East Dakota Highway patrol ordered a ban for hand held radar guns.
The State of East Dakota has put a ban order on all radar guns ,70, from service. The state is banning radar guns because of concerns their troops could develop cancer. The radar guns produce radiation that can turn into cancer. Right now the state has troopers using radar unites with transmitters mounted outside of their cruisers.
Adam Smith, the spokesman for the East Dakota Highway patrol, said “the feeling here is to err on the side of caution until more is known about the Issue”. Smith has the whole situation under review and is making sure that his troopers are safe.
This move by East Dakota is considered to be the first of its kind by any state police agency. This ban comes two months after three officers in central city filed workman’s compensation claims. These workers said they developed cancer from using the hand held ray guns.
The headline suggest you have already come to your conclusion.
First graf is a workable lead, but WHEN is rarely the most important fact.
A good effort, Jay.
