With an Escaped Killer Loose, an Unsettling Encounter in a Darkened House

Convicted murderer escaped from prison! On Thursday, August 31, Danelo Cavalcante, 34, escaped from Chester County Prison on in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It have been nearly a week since the murderer got away and the people in the area, a quiet farm community, are living with unease. The police team in charge of the search have been doing jogs through back yards, flying drones in the sky, and helicopters.

Danelo was in prison for stabbing his former girlfriend, Deborah Brandao, close to 40 times in front of her children. Danelo was sentenced to life in prision and escaped a little over a week into serving it.

Howard Hollan, the prison warden, described how Danelo escaped. He started off by crab walking up 2 parallel walls up to the roof. He then pushed through two installations of razor wire and scaled the fences. An interesting fact, a inmate has escaped the same way before.

The police believe he is still in the area, which is causing fear and panic in the surrounding communities.

Does it have a good lead? Who is the audience?

    News comments need both pieces.
