{"id":43,"date":"2016-09-15T11:25:22","date_gmt":"2016-09-15T16:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/jadenelson\/?p=43"},"modified":"2016-09-27T12:37:11","modified_gmt":"2016-09-27T17:37:11","slug":"rewrite-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/jadenelson\/2016\/09\/15\/rewrite-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"Rewrite Practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>UPDATED:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>9\/27\/16<\/p>\n<p><strong>South\u00a0Sioux City man dies in car collision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Woodbury County Sheriff&#8217;s Office released the death of a local South Sioux City man and Moville boy at 11 this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Moyer Quick, aged 65, was involved in a two-car collision on Highway 20 just east of Sioux City two weeks ago. Quick\u00a0was riding in the car with his wife, Dorothy, 61, and daughter-in-law Maxine Steuerwald, 43, of Lawton.\u00a0Dorothy and Maxine were transported to the Marian Health Center, along with the passenger of the other car, Randy Radin, 17.<\/p>\n<p>According to Iowa Highway Patrolman, Patric Stewart, the Quick&#8217;s vehicle rear-ended Radin which sent both vehicles into the ditch on the side of the road.<\/p>\n<p>Dorothy and Maxine were reported in &#8220;good&#8221; and &#8220;fair&#8221; conditions and released from the hospital the next day. Radin was reported to have a fractured skull and other internal injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Radin had been in a coma since the accident and was pronounced dead at 8:17 this morning.\u00a0It was also later released after an autopsy that Moyer died of heart failure at the hospital.
