Karl Marx on Religion

September 8, 2011 by · Leave a Comment

Karl Marx was born into an era where he was under the control of rich Christian families.  Naturally, Marx would have a bad view of religion because there was no freedom of religion and he was forced into Christainity.  Marx most likely grew up poor in his large family so his thinking of the rich trying to surpress the poor through religion would be an easy thought.  I believe Marx was a selfish person because he avoided serving his country and came up with everyone trying to keep him supressed.  During his life he must have never seen anything that could have never seen anything which most people consider a blessing such as him having a wife and kids.  Marx must have always wanted to be extremely rich and his greed kept him from thinking there is something more to life than money.
