Sneaky coyote statue

On 05/27/24 I also visited the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center but it was closed due to the holiday. Instead of taking pictures inside, I decided to take photos of the many statues that were outside and walking a little bit to photograph the bridge and river.

Trinity Heights

On 05/27/24 I went to Trinity Heights in Sioux City to take photos on my own. It was a nice peaceful experience to see the different statues and to be able to take in the nature surrounding me as well.

Art Museum

On 05/28/24 I went to the Sioux City Art Center to take photos. There were many different art pieces by many artists. Some art is from local artists while other art is from artists in the Midwest area. Each piece tells it’s own story with its intricately placed brush strokes or expression through other mediums like glass.

Railroad Museum

On 05/23/24 we went to the Railroad museum located in Sioux City, IA close to the riverside area. We toured what was a warehouse that had trains inside it, toured a building filled with model trains and tracks, and we even got to ride mini trains around the property.

Sounds of Morningside

This photo is of two small birds on a fence at Morningside’s campus. While birds can be heard mostly everywhere, you will surely hear them around campus as long as it’s not to cold for them to be out and about. Their melodies can serenade you as you make your way through campus.

This picture of one of the fountains at Morningside is also a sound many hear, especially in the spring, fall, and summer. Fountains aren’t unique to just Morningside, but this one is very well known to many that are here at the Mside community.
