Meaning households with children have had the least amount of food sources within the last twenty years.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a huge issue because we expect kids to be healthy and prepared to learn, grow, and achieve constantly throughout their childhood. Children cannot grow up correctly if they\u2019re not getting enough food and nutrients.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/etm002\/files\/2022\/09\/images.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-69\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021 there were more resources available for these families because of the pandemic. Now that it has \u201cpassed\u201d 2022 will be another difficult year for families because nothing has changed. Changes were made specifically around the pandemic but there were no permanent changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since there has been no changes to the system for families with children to acquire food the problem will only continue to grow. Children should not be going hungry and still be expected to achieve the same amount of expectations as a kid who is perfectly healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Families should also know that there are forty four countries with food banks that served almost 40 million families in 2021. These food banks are there to support yourself and your children.
