Tennis it’s an individual sport, where your mind can be your best or worst ally, a sport with great athletes like Roger Federer, Rafael Nada, or Serena Williams. In the men’s field, who would be the next great tennis player? It was the question that the world and tennis fans were asking, that star, the heir to the throne has arrived, is already here, and precisely in our country, America, a country which he has already conquered, the current Winner of the US Open 2022 has already defeated his first rival.

Carlos Alcaraz will seek to defend his title at the US Open 2023, In this article from the New York Times, it is shown how some of the best and most experienced players have had to change their playing style due to the young phenomenon.

In sports it is difficult for big stars to praise others, Alcaraz has received positive comments not only from experienced players but also from young people who comment on how difficult it is to play against the Spanish tennis player.

Novak Djokovic, the tennis player with the most titles in the ATP era, has commented that he has had to change his style of play against the young Star, the Serbian already knows what it is to lose against Alcaraz, losing the last final at Wimbledon.

But how can a 20-year-old beat established big stars in the sport? is another question that the sports world asks itself. Competitive and showman are two words that describe Carlos Alcaraz’s game. Winning mentality that he conveys at every point, and a show that fills the eyes of the fans.

Let’s make this simple, I don’t have that many readers so I don’t think my life interests you guys, Maybe when I become famous I can do a longer version, but for now, let’s stick with the short version.

I was born on June 12, 2001, in Maracaibo, Venezuela, the second-biggest city in Venezuela, but a few days after the miracle of my life, I moved to Caracas, the capital city, where I lived for 10 years, I really had an incredible childhood, always around my family, which I love, good friends and soccer, I started playing at 6 years old, It was a straight arrow to the heart.

Big city big things to do, I grew up going to stadiums, all types of sports events, soccer, basketball, baseball, and even horse races. So yes, I love sports, my father was a big factor in my love for sports.

At the age of 10, I moved back to Maracaibo, which allowed me to spend more time with my grandparents. Maracaibo it’s a hot city, the average weather is 95 degrees. There I played a lot of soccer, really good tournaments and levels.

When I was 14, my parents gave my sister and me the news we were moving again, I took it in a good way, I liked new experiences, and there I spent my high school years, What a trip!

San Cristobal besides Caracas and Maracaibo is a small city, but small cities are cozy. I loved it, I had so much fun, stories that I cannot tell right now but hey, I have a weblog, I might be posting some.

After graduating, my dad got a job offer in Cucuta, COLOMBIA. Yes, another country, but I like moving so of course I did happily. 3 years in Colombia was a good experienced a new country, but that was not my final destination.

At 21 I moved to Sioux City, Iowa, howdy guys! Morningside University, what a place, I love it here, this place I have been learning so many things, It was the first time that I lived by myself. I am currently a sophomore; this is not the end. I am currently 22, and I have 3 more years in college, more stories and experiences are coming.

Hello web bloggers, this is my first weblog, I am Diego Ocando, just another student at Morningside University. This blog is for my class, and I was asked to talk about the person sitting next to me in my class. That guy who is next to me it’s my bestie, so I am writing about one of the life experiences of one of the best people I have met on this planet, which we know is not flat, but that is another topic.

Elias is Ecuadorian, a country close to where I was born, Venezuela. however, I met him in 2022, in Sioux City, Iowa, two people who had ventured into a new school and life adventure.

At first, we weren’t that close, Elias is a more reserved person, and my personality is more open, but over time we became very close.

One day, in the middle of soccer training, I offered Elias a job opportunity, that opportunity would be to work at the Mustang Grill, after insisting so much, Elias accepted the offer.

Elias did not have that much work experience but from day one, Elias liked the job, when he got the first payment, that’s when Elias fell in love with working, and he became a hard worker, which led him to get more jobs on campus.

In the Summer of 2023, his hard work and passion for it rewarded him with a better job opportunity, which would be working as an RA at Dimmit Hall.

Friends help and learn from each other, in this case, Elias learned the feeling of working from me.

Quoting Elias “He who follows her gets it” which means if you keep trying, eventually, it will happen.

PS: Elias you are the MVP and you will get your MVP22.
