We are just leaving our first stop at Batavia and the concert last night kicked off tour very well. Yesterday we left bright and early at 6:30 and had a full day riding the bus. The Methodist Church in Batavia is beautiful. It is now in its 175th year and they have a congregation of about 1,000. The concertgoers were very responsive and seemed to enjoy our music. Katie and I stayed with a wonderful host family and had a great time speaking with and getting to know them. This morning we got on the road to Akron, OH at 7:30. Another long day of bus riding is ahead of us but I am looking forward to another wonderful concert and another day closer to Carnegie Hall.
