I had first read The Alchemist in high school because my sister had recommended it to me. At first I thought it dragged on a little but I kept reading and found it to be one of my favorite books. All of the magic and sayings in it are so interesting and it really does make you think about what would happen if you weren’t afraid to follow your heart and find your destiny. I have found that this book has many concepts of a pilgrimage and I will show how it does in my project/presentation.

I am interested in listening to your presentation. I have never read this book nor have i heard anything about it. I enjoy reading (when I have time) so I may read this book depending on how you describe it. I am interested in what you are going to say about following your heart to find your true destiny.
Do you think this book has inspired you to follow your heart? Did it cause you to reconsider the way you were living your life and to change elements of your beliefs?
Kimmi,
I think that it does inspire me to find out what I want and to go for it and to not be afraid. I know that things wont be easy along the way because of how the story goes but I will know that in the end it is worth it.
