Morningside’s Career Closet

The Career Closet is a helpful resource for Morningside students, but not many students outside of the School of Business are aware of the opportunities at their fingertips. The School of Business at Morningside University is home to the Career Closet, an organization ran by Business Honors. The Career Closet gets donations of gently used professional attire for students to take for free.

Rachel Spier, a Junior Biology and Chemistry major, did not know the Career Closet could benefit non-business students. Spier was asked why she has not visited the Career Closet.

“I didn’t know I could.” she replied.

While some non-business students do not know the resource is available to them, some do not know about the Career Closet at all. Nick Philthilath, a Junior Biology major, is one of those students. Philthilath was asked to mention everything he knew about the Career Closet.

“I don’t know what that is.” he replied.

After a brief explanation of what the Career Closet is, Nick seemed interested in what it has to offer. “I might have to check it out!” he said.

The closet is located in room LC 108 and is open during business hours for students.
