Richard Brunson, 50, shot his wife, Laurette Kenny Brunson, 38, with a .22-calibre handgun after their wedding on the front porch of their home. The shooting occurred after she threw a plate of wedding reception macaroni salad at him. By the time police arrived, Mr. Brunson was gone. His whereabouts are still unknown. Mrs. Brunson was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital and hospital officials say she is in satisfactory condition.
