I quickly decided to head towards the Lincoln Center because I knew the receptionist Jennifer Braunschweig would have a rubber band.

While on my to the Business Department, I spotted a young man walking down street towards the student center. After we made eye contact and he removed his Air Pods I asked him if he had a minute to talk? He checked the time on his phone and agreed to be interviewed. The man turned out to be Jackson Chapin, a freshman here at Morningside. I then asked him if he knew any knock knock jokes and he quickly hit me with a classic, the interrupting cow knock knock joke. Once the joke was said and a laugh was shared Chapin told me, “This was a fun survey.” and we went our separate ways.

Next, I was moving on to the Lincoln Center. I was shocked to see the receptionist, Jennifer Braunschweig, was not there. Luckily for me though, I was able to find Morningside Economics Professor John Zink in his office. With a surprised look, Zink asked me what I needed and I informed of the projected I was doing and the rubber band I was in search of. After a minute of searching in his desk, Zink informed me that he did not have any particularly “think” rubber bands, but handed a unique purple one instead. Zink also told me, “I’ve had two people come in and ask for objects for this assignment, but I cannot remember the name of the other kid.” With a smile, I thanked him and waved goodbye.

The purple rubber band given to me by Professor John Zink

For my scavenger hunt I was tasked to find two things from someone on the Morningside campus, a knock knock joke and a thick rubber band.
