Just a year ago the rate was at 3.09% now it has more than doubled today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year in August the rate was only at 5%. The change in percentage of Mortgage rates over the past weeks has been the highest since the 1970s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mortgage applications has reached an all time low in the last 25 years that was updated just a week ago.
