Have you ever takin a drive along the highway and saw a cop sitting on the side of a road or under a bridge? Well, the main reason for them to do this is to track your speed to make sure there are no dangerous drivers on the highways. Turns out, there are concerns that those hand held radar guns are putting state troopers at risk of getting cancer.
Two months ago, three municipal offers filed workers compensation claims saying that they developed cancer from using the hand held radar guns. This is an important issue for the East Dakota Highway Patrol to prevent any other troopers getting cancer.
Adam Smith, Spokesman of the Highway patrol had to say “The feeling is to err on the side of caution until more is known about the issue,” smith said. “The whole situation is under review.”
This is the first Highway patrol that has started to experience this issue. it is yet to be released if the issue is because of faulty produced products from the issuer, or if the technology of radar guns as a whole puts all troopers in danger of cancer. More is still to come on the situation.
Question leads are discouraged. Especially if they’re yes/no questions. Most readers will answer no and turn the page.
If you look at your story, you never actually mention the news. The East Dakota Highway Patrol (Verb) banned (Object) the use of hand-held radar guns yesterday.
You also don’t answer the question in the headline. The Takeaway, Brian, is to prioritize facts and use an inverted pyramid.
