Our instructions were clear. I had to interview two strangers and either ask them something or obtain an object from them. Each student received a paper with their objects. Both of my objects were to ask the strangers questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>#1: A Favorite Morningside Memory <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>#2: A Knock Knock Joke <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I opened the Morningside Campus Security office I found Agnes Garder sitting in the office chair. She was perplexed and delighted to see me as I walked into the office. I proceeded to ask Agnes what her favorite Morningside memory was. Her answer was being a part of a Morningside pole. The pole was statewide and contained politics and officials-related topics.  Agnes was able to get the overall opinion of the Iowa population. She said, &#8220;The pole was fun to be a part of and be able to do something like that. &#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Katie Koithan was my second stranger. Turns out she was already asked a Knock Knock joke. She said, &#8220;I can&#8217;t do the same one then, Hold on!&#8221; As soon as she found a new one she approached me with a wide smile and her phone in her hand ready to share the joke. Her joke was&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knock Knock<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who is there? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luke <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luke who? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luke through the peephole and find out! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We laughed and I thanked her for participating. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning I was tasked with a scavenger hunt by my professor Ross.
