Hello my name is Brian Garcia! I am senior from Burbank, California and just recently returned for my last year of college. I currently attend Morningside University and I’m on the baseball team. My hobbies include playing video games, reading, exercising, watching sports, and playing baseball. I also have started to enjoy hunting since moving to Iowa. Here at Morningside I am majoring in Business and minoring in Graphic Design and Marketing. Morningside has been a great experience thus far and has been a real grind when it comes to the academics and baseball seasons.

Getting to experience the midwest has been a real treat since life on the west coast is vastly different. Both lifestyles are very different and there are definitely pros and cons to both. I have noticed that the society in the midwest is very polite compared to the society in the west coast and there is a lot less traffic and chaos. Life in the midwest is also more affordable and peaceful. With that being said one of the main and possibly only problem I have experienced is the weather. After living in the west coast all my life I can say that I am very spoiled and don’t enjoy the serious levels of cold and snow that the midwest gets during the year.

With that being said, I and looking to have an awesome year academically and athletically to finish off my college career at Morningside.
