These photos were taken around my house in my hometown of Fremont, NE. See the previous post to compare the two neighborhoods I’ve lived in!

For these next two posts, I am using photos that I decided to take while walking around both my house in Sioux City, and my house in my hometown of Fremont, NE. I wanted to do this to compare the different neighborhoods that I’ve lived in. While there are a lot of similarities between the two, there are plenty of differences that make each of these neighborhoods stand out!

Art Museum

May 30, 2024

I don’t know why I don’t visit the art museum more often. The exhibits that were in there were wonderful to look. Here are some of my favorites that I was able to capture on my camera.

The Orpheum

May 30, 2024

The trip to the the Orpheum was one of my favorites. The beauty of both the building and the theatre itself was magnificent.

Railroad Museum

The visit to the railroad museum was an interesting one. I really enjoyed learning about some of the history and, of course, looking at the railcars.

Downtown Sioux City

May 29, 2024

These photos were taken from the Warrior Hotel, the Courthouse, and in a few different alleys. I enjoyed looking at the murals the most, but I was able to get some other solid pictures as well.

24 Photos

May 15, 2024

These pictures were taken just outside of the front door of my house. I thought that it would be difficult to shoot 24 unique photos, but it ended up being easier than expected! These are the 5 photos that I thought were the best. I think that these help capture some of the natural beauty that we miss every day.

Sounds of Morningside

May 13, 2024

There aren’t too many things that are more calming than hearing the water from the fountains on campus. When these are turned on, there is more than likely going to be nice weather and good vibes!

They might be empty in this photo, but it isn’t hard to imagine the home bleachers of Elwood Olsen Stadium packed to the brim with the Morningside faithful. If you are ever in attendance at a home football game, you’ll be sure to hear the clanging of cowbells and lots of rowdy fans!
